Description

EDIT BLARGLE: The contrast was too high D: Please tell me if you think this is better.

ORIGINAL LAWL:

His heart beats once every year! He could wrap his whole body around Antarctica! He eats the moon but has no belly...it must be Moon-Eater!!!!!!

Son to Summanus, he eats the moon that orbits Gea. The white circles are dead stars he preserved and either put on a necklace or embed in his scales. The horns on his tail that are broken leak sulfer. They used to be whole and hollow but were hit by asteriods or meteors.

Moon-eater used to chomp up the moon as much and as often as he pleased. However, when civilization was blooming, Father time ( [link] ) wanted the people to be able to keep track of the passing days. He imprisioned Moon-Eater so that people could use the moon's phases. A century later, Moon-Eater escaped and threatened to eat the whole moon if a comprimise was not made. Finally the two reached an agreement: Moon-Eater could only eat the part of the moon that was in shadow. The deal remains.

By the way, Father Time is his uncle. I have a whole family tree made for the cosmic dragons.

**Critique is verrrrry much appreciated!!!

The details on this are gorgeous. I don't think anything can be too overworked as long as major details are noticeable. Darkening the values to create shadows and contrast can help to pop certain areas out (like arms, horns, eyes, etc) and also create a sense of space and dimensionality.
lol, didn't mean to rant. I just love pieces with beautiful and busy detail such as this. :)
